# For Hosts — hire event staff on GigMe

Post a gig in the GigMe app and get matched with verified bartenders, waitstaff, production crew, sound technicians, runners, and more. You always choose who to hire. GigMe does not assign workers without your approval.

## How it works

1. **Set up and post your gig.** Create a host account, then describe the role, date, location, pay rate, and requirements. Takes less than 5 minutes.
2. **AI-supported smart match.** GigMe's AI ranks applicants by ratings, reliability, and role experience. You make the final call.
3. **Choose your workers.** Select who fits your event. GigMe never confirms a worker without your approval.
4. **Waitlist as backup.** Extra applicants stay on a waitlist. If a hired worker withdraws, pick a replacement without reposting.
5. **Manage event day.** About 3 hours before the shift, the Now screen shows worker location and attendance (Arrived, Late, No-show, Completed).
6. **Payment and ratings.** After attendance is recorded, payment is captured and the worker payout is processed. Hosts and workers rate each other.
